mudita school respect your right to privacy and work to ensure that any data that we have recorded from our donors, supporters and partners is both protected and used appropriately. This means the following:
We only collect contact information with your consent:
You may give your information over e-mail, when you call the office or via our website forms (for example when you make a donation, sign up to our newsletter or sign up for a challenge). These forms only ever ask for name and e-mail address, and if making an online donation, your card details. Card details are only processed with trusted third party applications (i.e. PayU) that have strict privacy shields. We may occasionally request some extra information like how you heard about us, or what inspired you to get involved, but this will be purely voluntary.
How do we secure your Personal Data?
We never sell or share your data with third parties for commercial use, and we do not pass it on to third parties to bother you for donations on our behalf. Your donations are managed by payment provider services (PayU) which employ secure technology systems. We are committed to protecting your Personal Data in our custody. We take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate physical, technical and managerial safeguards are in place to protect your Personal Data from unauthorized access, alteration, transmission and deletion. We ensure that the third parties who provide services to us under appropriate contracts take appropriate security measures to protect your Personal Data in line with our policies.
How long do we keep your Personal Data?
We keep the Personal Data we collect about you for as long as it is required for the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice and for legal or regulatory reasons. We take reasonable steps to delete your Personal Data that is no longer needed and on your request if you asked us to delete.
What Are Your Privacy Rights?
You have a right to access the data that you have provided at any time you want. You also have a right to update or make corrections to data that you have provided. The accuracy of such data is solely your responsibility.
We won’t spam you or cold call you.
Any personal details collected are used only to further our work with vulnerable children. This could be in the following ways, depending on what you have signed up for:

Supporting you for fundraising for mudita school work
We respect your personal privacy:
We don’t automatically send updates about our work to everyone who gives us their e-mail address. We only send to people who have specifically signed up to our newsletter or people who give monthly donation to mudita school or people who would ask us to send updates. We send e-mailed updates around once a month to donors who give regularly, and to those who have opted to receive our newsletter, we send them quarterly. Very occasionally we may contact you outside of the monthly or quarterly e-mail, if there is special news, or an emergency appeal.
